Aldershot Dolphins
Your local BSAC club for divers of all levels in North Hampshire and West Surrey
Welcome to Aldershot Dolphins dive club, a group of salty ones who like to explore blue spaces in the UK and abroad.
Founded in 1957 in North Hampshire, we have a simple aim of going diving and having fun doing it.
We meet every Thursday at the Farnborough Rugby Club, so drop in to have a chat or follow us on social media
Never dived before?
You can try out a dive in a local pool to see if it's for you.
Or if you already know, you can sign up for BSAC Ocean Diver course meant for complete beginners.
Drop us a mail and/or follow us on social media to find out when the next one is scheduled!

Already a qualified diver?
See what you can do with our club and other qualified members
Crossover from PADI / SSI / NAUI
Many of our core club members are crossovers from other agencies, so if you are thinking of coming over to the darker side, we can show you how :)
Based on your current qualification, our instructors can advise which BSAC qualification will be an equivalent starting point for you in your BSAC journey.
Drop us a line and we can get the conversation started!

Advance your BSAC qualifications
Our club instructors are qualified to instruct up to BSAC Advanced diver qualification.
We also hold regular SDCs like First aid for divers, O2 administration, ADP (Advanced Decompression), Buoyancy & trim control, etc.
We like to have other workshops based on member input and interest like Twinset taster, Boat basics & knots, Underwater photography basics, etc.

But why join a club if you want to just learn to dive?
You can keep your skills up to date by diving & training all year long with other club members.
You have access to all club equipment so dont need to purchase any equipment before you get qualified. You continue to be able to access this equipment as long as you are a club member, so can borrow items on a temporary basis (conditions apply).

Our club has a RHIB in Portland Marina, so you can get experienced in the ocean at very minimal cost and at flexible times.
You get to dive with other divers of various experience levels which makes you a well-rounded diver with a host of other skills.
We also liaise with other local BSAC clubs for combined training, and/or charter boat diving.
What else?
Our club is not just about training, we have some other things going on too...
UK Diving
We do multiple day & weekend charters in the South coast. Plymouth, Swanage, Eastbourne, Portland, Lundy, Porthkerris being some of our regular dive spots.

Diving abroad
We do at dive trips aboard in places like the Red Sea, Malta, Maldives and even the Galapgos; our members are diving all over the world on their holidays!
We meet every Thursday at a local pub to talk all-things-scuba and to crack some bad diving jokes. We have a summer BBQ, a Christmas do, quiz & movie nights.

Diving with a purpose
Some of our members are also involved with NAS (Nautical Archaeological Society) so we also organise trips to dive protected wrecks.
